AAA  Class Policies

  • Advance registration is required for all AAA Classes and Programs. 
  • Register in person at the store, or by phone with a credit card.
  • Upon registration, you will be given a supply list for your class.
  • Guests, children, pets, and walk-ins are not permitted in classes. 
  • Minimum enrollment is required for each class. 
  • If maximum enrollment is met, classes will be closed to further enrollment.  If minimum enrollment is not met, classes will be cancelled, and fees will be refunded. 
  • Machine Usage classes are FREE if your machine is purchased at AAA Sewing.  There is a non-refundable kit fee of $7 per class which includes thread, needles, fabric, oil and much more to get you started on the right path.
  • No refunds will be made if student cancels less than one week before class start date.

Creative Classes

Have you ever wanted to sew or need a refresher course? This class is for you. In this class you will learn how to read a pattern, cut your fabric and finally sew a pair of pajama pants for you or your loved one. Sewing terminology will also be discussed.

Up-scaling our fashion is an ongoing trend which we can achieve easily with our Brother Scan N' Cut Machines! You will first create the design in your Scan N' Cut using the heat transfer flocked vinyl, thus giving your garment that special touch. The class sample uses a jean jacket, but the sky is the limit. The garment you choose to embellish must be able to take heat.

Have you just purchased this software or need a refresher course? Then this class is for you. Join Salima as she teaches you the ins and outs of this powerful software. This is a hands on class, so you will bring your laptop (with an external mouse) and with the software loaded onto your laptop, you will work along with Salima.

This is a hands-on technique class. You will learn to put on a traditional binding and how to join the two ends so that you cannot tell where you started and stopped sewing. You will learn other techniques, such as wrap-from-the-back mitered corner bindings and scalloped edge bindings. You will also learn a quick and easy way to make bias binding with the bias binding rulers. We will also explore "facing bindings" which are used on art quilts.

Let's get that Scan N' Cut machine out of the box and explore some of the fun things we can do with it! In this class, we will use the draw function to create our own fabric, use the cut function to cut fabric for applique, and create a template for the placement of crystals. This machine is so fun and versatile and this class will get your feet wet in exploring the possibilities of this fabulous machine.
